Laboratory Monitoring

Personalized Medicine and Health Coaching

At Personalized Medicine and Health Coaching, laboratory testing paid through insurance or at a deep, cash-pay discount through Quest Diagnostics offers you proactive, tailored health management. From your initial initial assessment and as needed throughout the year, you’ll receive thorough, data-driven care.

During the initial assessment, the lab tests typically include a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), complete blood count (CBC), lipid panel, Apo B, ApoE genotyping (if requested), thyroid function tests, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), and testosterone levels. In addition, we regularly assess hemoglobin A1c for blood sugar control, HOMA-IR for insulin resistance, and the triglyceride-to-HDL ratio, a key marker for monitoring metabolic health. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is used to measure inflammation, a critical factor in cardiovascular disease risk. For a more comprehensive assessment, I may also incorporate tests like vitamin D, homocysteine, and fibrinogen to further evaluate cardiovascular and overall disease risk.

If there are specific lab tests or health data that interest you, I encourage you to bring them to my attention. We’ll discuss whether they align with your health goals and make sense within your personalized care plan. At Personalized Medicine and Health Coaching, I ensure that every test we use is backed by strong evidence and contributes to meaningful health outcomes. My goal is to provide you with transparent, data-driven care that improves your health, longevity, and overall well-being. Commonly ordered lab tests are described below.
